Busy busy!

Dear Family and friends :)
Finally been able to get a letter in! Whew!
How are all of you doing? hopefully well!
The past few weeks have been really busy, and I was struggling a little bit when I had a couple of bad days. But I am doing much better! So that's good!  My companion, Sister Housely, was there to help me with alot of things I couldn't do by myself. Yes, we are still together and still living it up in Rio Linda,CA- still loving the area and the people! and it's starting to feel like fall, it's getting chilly at night. In the daytime...sunny, sunny, sunny! I love it here so much! We are getting pumped for our second transfer together.
We have been doing so much work! Oh my goodness lol we have seen so many miracles happen. If we obey God's commandments we can be blessed for that simple act of obediance! I love having the opportunity to bare testimony and invite people to do those things that bring us closer to our savior!
BIG NEWS:
Katelyn, the little girl we are teaching is getting baptized this saturday on November 9th at 7pm!  on that same day, the elders in our ward are baptizing one of their investigators as well! His name in JT, and both of them are so excited to be getting baptized. Us and the elders are getting really excited and are seeing success with many of our investigators in their own ways- we are working with them and they loving everything about the gospel. It's so inspring to see how much the spirit can work through missionaries and through the BOM, and help us as the  missionaries draw closer to our savior. It's been a very humbling experience.

During my personal study one day I was reading in Alma 32, it mentions alot on faith and how we strengthen our faith in Christ is we simply allow him to come into our lives and trust him we can build our faith! I loved that! It was what I needed to hear. How often do we forget to rekindle our faith in the world we live in today? I had a lot to think about myself as I wrote down my thoughts in my journal. And it made me realize that the savior is there for us, and we can simply go to him if we ever need anything.  I hope you all are doing well, and that you had a really fun Halloween! haha I wish you all the best, and pray often for you all.
I invite you all to read that chapter and really think for a moment on how we can better increase our faith in the savior. It's just another step to come closer to him and I hope you all get the chance to do so- I promise you will feel the spirit as you do so. Write down your thoughts if you feel prompted too!

Love you all! Hope you have a great week!

Sister Matchett :)
