August 25th- August 31st

Hello everybodyy! How are ya? I hope well!

Well another great week of being a missionary! Let me tell ya about :)

Monday, August 25th. Preparation day!

It was half a preparation for me and sister kimura, we worked till

1pm, then went and did normal p-day stuff. The zone is much smaller

than Chico but I love them so much already, I've served around these

people already in my past areas so it's fun getting to see how the

mission life has been going.  Dinner was great, then we had FHE with

the reeds and it was great. Then night routine.

Tuesday, August 26th.

We had district meeting, and it was so good! A lot of revelation was

given to us to better help those people in the loomis area. We have

the zone leaders in our district too so I love it! And they are cool.

Then lunch.

After lunch, we had a lesson with Margaret, one of the recent converts

in the area, and she is so prepared. I feel like I learn more from her

when we go over. She is so in tune with the spirit and is ready for

the temple. I love her so much.

Then after that lesson, both of us were exhausted and needed to just

take a quick nap or rest from being in the heat so we went back to the

house and rested for a little bit then around dinner time we got up,

had dinner, then visited more people. Then the night routine.

Wednesday, August 27th.

Nothing too exciting happened. Did morning studies, and I was feeling

sick...like really sick, and a migrane hit me hard so I wasn't really

functioning lol to put it simple. So I rested mainly, the members,

sister kimura, and the thomsons took care of me and made me rest so I

could kick whatever it was...and that's what I did all day lol it came

from out of nowhere so I wasn't physically up to going out but

mentally I was wanting to go out and work. It was good though, I was

able to rest, and get better while sister kimura was able to do some

things...she's been struggling for a little bit this past week with

keeping the motivation to be out as a missionary so she was able to

think some things through and study a lot. It was good for both of us.

Thursday, August 28th.

Such a better day! Both of us were ready to get going on the day. Did

morning studies then waited for the auburn sisters to come so we could

go on splits for a little bit of the day.

Cuz I went to the temple!! And it was so great, the spirit was strong

there and I was able to get away from the world for a few hours....and

have some revelation given to me to help those we are teaching, and

for myself for my own growth. It was so nice. Sister Lohman and I

went, she leaves to go home at the end of the transfer so it was a

good visit for her as well.

While I was with sister Lohman, sister kimura and another sister went

out and saw some people.

Came back from the temple around 4pm, exchanged back then went out and

saw more people!

Then dinner, and did more finding. Then night routine.

Friday, August 29th.

We did weekly planning, so that was great!

Then saw Wendy, another RC, and a couple of other people.

Then dinner with the WML and his wife, the stoddards. They took us out

to eat, it was a great visit and then talked a little bit about the

work, some things we were doing, then night routine.

Saturday, August 30th.

Morning studies, spent some time with sister kimura again in having

the desire to be out and talked for a few minutes and we were able to

set some goals to help each other  out more as we work together in

this area. She felt a lot better, so that's good! She has such a

strong desire to serve and do good, she just is really hard on

herself. It's just like that everyone I think haha it was a good talk

though.

Then went to see charla, one of our investigators, shared a lesson

with her then did service for a couple of hours at her house then came

home and cleaned up and got ready for dinner.

Dinner was so great! Then visited more people, and same night routine.

Sunday, August 31st.

Church was great! We had a lot of meetings in the morning so that was

fun! Church was focused on missionary work, it was great! It's a much

younger ward than the last one I was in lol it felt weird for me haha

but I love the people here so much! Saw many miracles happen.

After church, went and saw some people that ward council  members

asked us to go see then dinner with the powers, Liz is the daughter of

one of the families I served around in paradise, so it was fun getting

to hang out and teach her family for practice teaching.

Then we went to another members house to PT, and got to know them.

Another great visit!

Then Sunday night routine!

And got ready for Monday!

Monday, September 1st.

Typical p-day, going to see charla again for a quick visit then

hanging out with the other missionaries so it's going to be a good day

today!

We have dinner with the astles, then we are doing FHE with them! Love

FHE! Sister kimura and I are doing good, both of us have been blessed

with health and are doing good spiritually. Love being a missionary

and serving The Lord. It's been a slow week, but I learned a lot on

how to listen to the spirit more and love others and support them in

their struggles.

Miracles happen, so many things to be grateful for them.
